Family Footcare Specialist, LLC, has been serving the community of Pennsville for over 20 years.  We strive to provide the best foot and ankle care for all of our patients and tailor treatments to each individual’s specific needs.  We treat all ages from pediatrics to geriatrics and everyone in between!

Dr. Richard Sooy, DPM

Dr. Richard Sooy, DPM, has been serving the area of Pennsville, NJ as a podiatric physician for roughly 30 years.  He was born and raised in Pennsville, NJ and enjoys giving back to the community.  Dr. Sooy attended Glassboro State College (now Rowan University) where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. He then served our country in the United States Air Force for three years.  Upon return, he decided to continue his studies at the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine to earn his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine degree. He completed his residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Kennedy Hospital Health Systems in NJ.   After this, he began practicing and eventually opened his own office in Pennsville, NJ where continues to practice to this day.  When he is not in the office, Dr. Sooy enjoys watching baseball, supporting his beloved Notre Dame sports, and hanging around the Italian Kitchen.
